I Apologize

So in the past I may have took things to a whole different lengths.
I played your intelligence, messed with your head, and tested your strengths.
But through all the drama that happened between us one thing was always true.
The only real truth is while I was with him, you with her, I never stopped loving you.
Even though the way things ended there was only blame on me,
the games, the lies and yes all the deceit.
It is inevitable that you and I will cross paths once again,
but until then I hope one day you will become my friend.
Let go of the past and you and I can move on,
Move on and be the way we once was and can talk civil on the telephone.
Until then I will sit and admire you with your new wife from afar.
Yes, I faced the fact with her is where you are.
I don't wish harm or anything bad to come to you!
But deep down I know the love you had for me yes you are still in love with me too!
