The magnificence of mountains,
The power of the rain,

The moon is my face,
Lingering in the dark,
Eerily white with fear,
Empty like a cloud,

Infant cries in the dark night,
Cat howls in the moonlit street,
The town clock striking another hour,
Curtains blowing eerily in the wind,

Longing in idleness and despair,
In hope and expectation only am I alive,
Finding desperately a smile or laugh,
Evolving into the mystery of death.
