Have you watched the tears of those
Who are oppressed each day
Or do you not care and carry on
And go your separate way

Have you watched those children
Battered bruised and torn
Weeping by the roadside
Lost and all forlorn

Do you feel the guilt
When you see this sight
Or do you say within my heart
This is not my fight

What if it were your children
Battered bruised and lost
Stranded in a wilderness
How could you count the cost
You do not know whats in their hearts
While war is all around
But one things sure unless we teach
A peace will never be found
