As a business major, poetry was always an unattainable skill. My brain just didn't work that way, or so I thought. Over the last year I have really begun to enjoy poetry, both reading and writing. If only life suited
That of a bird
Feathers light
Weightless in sight
The air would move me
Through and through
My arms would feel
Gentle still
Journeying through
The spinning wheel
Fatigue would know
