But behind this mask I secretly dwell.

I hide so well from all of you.

I laugh too much for my own good,
I talk to myself like you knew I would!

Life is like a game of cards,
You play them right or wrong.
You either feel like you're in the right place,
Or feel like you don't belong.

I feel you in my heart,
Forever, always will be.
You are in my breath,
You are in my soul,

You promised you’d always trust in me,
I believed that'd always be true.
But behind that face of veracity,
You hid a different you.

I bottle up,
This love I’ve got,
That I know will last forever.

Why do I hear cries for you,
When I know you’re gone forever?
Why did you pretend to care,
When you knew we’d never be together?

Too much i gave
too little received.
I was deceived.

Springing to life, these glorious days,
Autumn still shows its soft chilling ways.
Amidst all the confusion of the summer divine,
Again and again till the end of time.

One flash of hope,
across you lips.
One single glace,
