As a young person, this poem- meant to illustrate regret- drew inspiration for me.
It is a beautifully written contemplative piece.
Again, as a teenager, it touched me. Gave me almost a spark of hope.
Made me think that maybe I can change that hopeless anguish and reduce my personal list.
You seem like an exquisite person and you are a wonderous poet.
I can only aspire to write as divinely as yourself.

Ulrike without her gown of beautiful words...regret. I love the soft rhythms and courage of this....Unmasking herself in a big crowd

I love the gentle style of this, a complete contrast to your other stuff. But it fits. A subject all of us, on the wrong side of 40. can associate with.

Clearly seen, honestly spoken and well written. How truethat many actions past were sad, painfull, or embarassing, but none are to be regretted half as much as oppertunities missed. Open eyes and the realization that many times we are just making excusses may help us grasp the moment before it slips by, sayvouring what lifes has to offer, then tick off those hundred things that make up fullfillment.
Best wishes, Ben.

Words still unsaid
Warmth gone to waste
Love taken
Like a passer-by
wonderfully expressed.... loved reading it..
