A bad idea

Just recently, Mrs Mollison
had been toying with the idea
of killing him,
taking him apart, limb from limb.

Of course, being only small
she'd need a very sharp knife
and, perhaps,
it might be tricky

but worth the effort
after she'd put up with years
and years
of his bullying.

Mrs Mollison was only 5 foot two,
she wasn't beautiful,
and the jury
wouldn't be sympathetic

so she put the knife away,
let it stew another day
and proceeded to get on
with her knitting.

this was my favorite part, but she is NOT only small. she is also wise. maybe after letting it stew another day, she can come up with a foolproof plan and.............when she finally kills the bastard.........she can make bastard 'stew'! thanks for sharing. ;) (Report) Reply

A clever write, a mini mellow drama. I am surprised where you write - She wasn't beautiful, you didn't defer to the knitting pun of saying - She was plain. In the sequel can she be revealed as Pearl and can she finish him off with some dodgy perch. These are the only 3 knitting terms I have. Great fun, thank you. (Report) Reply
