A Prayer Of Love.
Dear guardian angel oversee
The young couple so in love,
Please protect and cherish them
When you descend from up above
Their love is so enchanting
As they whisper and adore
Two hearts seeking romance
Now and for evermore.
Entwine them with your purity
Free from all earthly harm,
Giving them eternal hope
Happiness will be their lucky charm.
Bestow on them your wisdom
To be stored in each dear heart,
Please touch them with heavenly love
As your glory you impart.
Guide them forever forward
With heartfelt care and tenderness,
Help them walk a righteous path
As their young love you bless,
Heather P Wilson

What a sweet prayer, should be read at every wedding.
What an ardent prayer and what warm a wish for the young couple, bonded in love! ! A joy to read!
Young love is wonderful, but a bit of help from a guardian angel couldn't hurt! :)
a good speech from the altar of the church. I used to hear a lot, particularly 'brothers' give their maiden speech to bless the young couple, when the brothers themselves do not know anything about love and material life!
It's not always plain sailing but when your in love
it's one of the best feelings in the world.
Do you cry at weddings too? This is fabulous.
A great tribute to love - lovely write.
a nice simple honest poem that refreshes downtrodden dreams
