A Thousand Miles - Poem by Brian Bwesigye

Making my way down town walking fast
Faces past and I am homebound
Staring blankly ahead making my way through the crowd
And I’ll need you and I’ll miss you
And now, I wonder

If I could fall into the sky
Do you think time would pas me by
Because you know I’d fall a thousand miles
If I could just see you tonight

I don’t want to let you know
I live in your memory

I do not want to let this go
I do not
