Anticipating You

'A dazzling thought of yours love,
Makes my heart beat faster.
A wish of anticipating you,
Can make me my life's master.'

'Mists and darkness surrounds your face,
I search and find nowhere your trace.
You make a part of my foolish imaginations,
Yet you remain important in my life's ambition.'

'Are you a dream?
Luring me into your stream.
Of the millions that suffered before,
Tormenting my mind of your love's adore.'

'Unaware of the consequences I go on,
Treachery and dangers in my life are drawn.
My heart's feelings for you are true,
Still, I keep on anticipating you.'

poet Emily Jane Brontë

I am the only being whose doom
No tongue would ask no eye would mourn
I never caused a thought of gloom
A smile of joy since I was born

In secret pleasure - secret tears
