What do you think this poem is about?

Belive

All of my being is only a shell,
But if I can't see I'll surely go to hell,
The thought of religion makes want to die,
But the fear of the fire keeps me alive,
How can you see without your eyes,
How can you trust in a thing that defies,

They say that the scripture will abolish my fears,
But I don't have faith in a word that I hear,
I'm sick of talking about the unknown,
But I am bogged down by the sadness you've shown,
I am lost and extremely confused,
But you cannot judge me for your not in my shoes,

How can you prove what doesn't exist,
When all you have is a book and a list,
You say it is true and even perfect,
But if its written by man it can't be worth it,
You place all your trust in the age it's obtained,
But you deny all the damage and change its sustained,

You take all your pride and you flaunt it around,
But you have no proof and you look like a clown,
You say you are right and have nothing to learn,
Other religions are not your concern,
Of course you are right it came from the book,
You ignore the proof and just say here look look,

Well I am sorry that I won't be so blind,
Yet you commend me for taking my time,
But as soon as I am gone you tear me apart,
As soon as I leave you speak with no heart,
I am sick of playing these nasty games,
But if you want then we can do names,

Fearful, Follower, Phony, and Fake,
You say you give but only take,
One day I will understand,
One day I will take God's hand,
I pray that one day you can see,
I pray that one day you can leave,

I hope that you can find the proof,
And that you get I was never aloof,
Maybe one day you can see,
God is different to you and me,
You believe God's word is church,
I believe your too lazy to search,

I know I have a ways to go,
But all I want is for you to know,
Just because I am not a devotee,
Doesn't mean I don't believe,
To me this journey is not delightful,
But when I am done I'll be a disciple,

For I will never truly know,
But maybe one day I can show,
It is not about what the group demands,
But all about what God commands,
I know I shall always stand alone,
But at least I'll know I stand next to God's throne.
