Box of Rocks

Box of Rocks

He’s a box of rocks
Charging through life
He’s like a Bull Ox
He means well
But he must of fell and
Bumped his head
Because everyone knows
Half-assed
Has always been
Half-assed
Back ass words
Just ain’t right
So don’t be a box of rocks
If you don’t know
Just ask
Leave things alone
Don’t go changing things
They’ve worked for years
Through many, many beers
Don’t be a Bull Ox
Pushing against the tender
Precious and small
Without a care at all
Verbally picking on other folk
Is worse than a broken egg yolk
So don’t be a box of rocks
Or a Bull Ox
Remember stupid is
As stupid does
Cleanliness is next to Godliness
So smelly is out
I must confess
Just shower before you dress
Use a little right guard
Left guard
Whatever it takes
Sure, would be fine
Just remember every time
Don’t be a box of rocks
On a wet road in Georgia
Or be a Bull Ox
Breaking the China
It’s good you know how to use a wrench
Still there no excuse for the stench
That follows you
We both know that’s true
It’s just lazy
Too lazy to bathe
Too lazy for personal hygiene
Too lazy for self respect
Or self esteem
It’s crazy
Being that lazy
I think it’s dumb as a
Box of rocks
Charging through life like a Bull Ox
Over and through the fences
Smelling offensive

Amongst the flowers I
am alone with my pot of wine
