The Bible says the 'last days' will be visible to mankind when the composite sign occurs. Never before has man been able to 'ruin the earth' on such a worldwide scale:
Revelation 11: 18 says:
'...and bring to ruin those ruining the earth.'
2 Timothy 3: 1-5 says:
'But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here.
For men will be
lovers of themselves,
lovers of money,
self-assuming,
haughty,
blasphemers,
disobedient to parents,
unthankful,
disloyal,
having no natural affection,
not open to any agreement,
slanderers,
without self-control,
fierce,
without love of goodness,
betrayers,
headstrong,
puffed up with pride,
lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God,
having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power...'
Matthew 24: 3-14 says:
'...the disciples approached...(Jesus) privately, saying...when will these things be...?
...For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom
...there will be food shortages
...earthquakes
...and this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth
for a witness to all the nations and then the end will come.'
