Broken Rose

  You gave me love,
And made me feel just right.
Safe in your arms,
But not tonight.

You left me stranded,
On my own.
And now your love,
I do not own.

Now I give you,
What you deserve.
A broken rose,
I shall serve.

That promise of love,
I gave to you,
Shall be taken back,
For it means nothing to you.
