When I woke up I was another day older And I’d developed a chip on my Shoulder. How it got there I’m not sure I don’t remember it from the night before. I did have Chips with Fish for my tea. But I’m sure I didn’t place any on me. Maybe it had grown during the night, Chips growing? That doesn’t sound right. But now I recall it was the case That a food-fight with my brother took place. Well that makes sense it does of course The chip must have got stuck to me with Sauce. I don’t think I’ll clean it, I’ll leave it be. A chip on my shoulder is no problem to me. But if mum sees it there’ll be a problem alright, She’ll know I didn’t clean myself last night Even though I told her that I did This Chip must remain carefully hid.
