Closure in emerald Poem by Tom Squires

In the mist upon a distant shore, dividing lines across the floor, there was a time for which it is, the long unfolding garment of velvet night. We withstood in laughter and long embrace, until the sun was on our face. The lady of the house in green, satisfied her emerald seen, turned and walked the long way home at last.
