Coffee

The sweet bitter taste
Nasty yet great
Its aroma fills the air
For this drink I do care
I drink it when the sun comes up
I fill up my entire cup
Short I will stay
For my growth it delays
I still smile bright
Even though my teeth are no longer white
I love the sweet bitter taste
Nasty yet great

Poem of the Day

poet Algernon Charles Swinburne

I hid my heart in a nest of roses,
Out of the sun's way, hidden apart;
In a softer bed than the soft white snow's is,
Under the roses I hid my heart.
