Constant - Poem by Lauren B Called

Constant hum of the highway
rhythm of a train and rails
sitting outside to help my mind survive
why does it feel like I've failed

my heart full of cares for so many
so many do not understand
am I even making a difference
or is this one more defeat again

God know the worries for my own
he waited for me to give them to Him
as my heart aches I can smell the sweet flowers near
and am reminded of what I believe in

such small moments when I saw the bees feed
and the sweet smell of pleasure close to me
comforts to know the hands that hold eternity
are the same ones that made all of these
