Deadly Satisfaction (from the early '70's)

There is a beauty to the deadly,
As each man must know,
Satisfaction lies in the feel
Of sword, axe, rifle or bow...

Therein may lie a power
Over that of normal death and life
And that power may lead men on
To greater and deeper strife

Seldom does man realize
Until he is drawing his own last breath
That the result of that power may be
His own untimely death...
