Depleting Mother
Oh my poor dear motherland
each time, both waking and not, I think of thee
my soul is certainly a wonderland
of blended emotions, which some do me
good, whereas others perpetrate
the opposite; for we've been deemed inferior and small
by the judgements from those whom incriminate.
However, my sweet mother, in the past we've stood tall
before our foes, even since our humble creation
in your lands long ago; unfortunately, terribly and regrettably
my dear mother, over recent years, I have the growing suspicion
your sons and daughters horribly, sadly and gradually
suffering as our forefathers once did - although without violence -
the majority of your lands have been divided
due to the foreign ideologies - warped the mentalities - thus,
overpowered the significance
of truth. This travesty will continue to progress; provided
that we your children will one day combat the political
assimilative injustices - for if not - our wondrous history will be
further
falsified and stripped away by the neighbouring cynical
governments that once did for centuries and centuries, we'll remain
there forever.
