Beauteous Victory (Out Of This World USA)
I light a candle
And then I say a prayer
You can strike me blindfolded
I don't care
For this is my testimony.
My dreams are all I have in this world
Take my dreams
And there shall be nothing left of me
Nothing but an empty hole in the ground
You can pound your fist on the wall all you want to
But I refuse to hear you
Deric, if you love me
Then why won't you say it?
All I want is your solemn word
Take me in your arms
And hold me close
It seems as if we are both on the edge.
That's not the answer
And you know it
Your eyes are bloodshot, my god!
You haven't slept in days
Hush hush now
Let's get some sleep before the storm sets in.
