Destiny Sans Arrival Date - Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

A fishing hook missing the bait,
Destiny sans arrival date,
Fortune welcomed with a closed gate,
A flower blooming far too late,
A stud for cows— too shy to mate,
A shooter that cannot shoot straight,
Like waiters that order-less wait
On empty table, empty plate,
Man arrives to meet unknown fate,
Unprepared and unopened gate,
With a well-come smile too sedate—
A cry unto fate’s eyes and straight,
Afraid, it‘d show him empty plate,
And all life his fate blossoms late.
