Dichotomies, or: Poetry or Sword Fights? Poem by Manny Furious

I can't decide whether
the cherry blossoms
make me want to brandish
a katana
and partake in duels with modern day
looking for something more exciting than
another reality tv show
as small purple flowers
hitchhike on the winds
around us
or write poetry.
I don't have a katana
I have never met a samurai
and the Kardashians are still going strong
so I'll settle
for writing poetry.
