Domestic Truth

We sugarcoat reality
And shadow it with glamor,
Condemning acts of terror,
Wielding the same oppressive banner.
Though in our minds, we're heroes,
Hammered in since we were born,
When power duels with power,
Let's not pretend its something more.

Poem of the Day

poet Robert Frost

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
