Domino Drinking
A sip
Ripples to a mouthful
Which metamorphoses
To a filled glass
That transforms
To the vacuity of a bottle
As a soul yearning
For company
Amidst shattering tides
Of loneliness
Takes solace
In the companionship of glass
Inebriated by
A charming spell
Of bewitching spirits
Oh the triumph and the tragedy
Of intemperance
