Dostoyevskian Lament

All a-fever
Under cover
With that cover blown,

Silence being
Escape to other,
Silence being reprieve,

I'm my own lover
In some novel
All my goddamn own.

Raskolnikov has
Little on me -
Yes, I'll that believe:

Suffering as a
Fantasy,
Constructed that an art

Might in me
Find complexity,
Is fuel for

What Sonya in me
She decides is
Heart.
