Samuel Newton (5th december / India)
Dream Of You...
Whenever I dream,
and dream I do,
in my garden,
I dream of you.
I dream of you,
in a land faraway,
embracing me tight
holding my hand.
Holding my hand,
touching my face.
Just you and me,
in this place.
In this place,
a pristine river flows.
Where the unicorns run,
a breeze blows.
A breeze blows
and sings a song;
our love in a place
where you never have gone.
Where you never have gone
is, as it would seem,
from dusk til dawn,
when I dream.
And when I dream,
a dream I do,
in my garden,
I dream of you.
I was sort of hoping,
That you would come along,
Like the answer to a prayer,
And the music to a song.
