Dreamy Surfer

Is it me dreaming, or am I awake?
I'm eyes closed, riding a wake
Carry me across the sea, by-and-by
Baby, I feel just like living in a lullaby

The wind is telling me of things
Of lost dreams, armadas and kings
But the wind on my side is Godsend
Baby, I shall meet you tonight at world's end

All my wrecked dreams, the years adrift
That’s all in the past, the wind, it’s a gift
Tonight indeed, let bygones be bygones
Baby, wish me Godspeed, here be dragons

poet Sir Thomas Wyatt

Farewell love and all thy laws forever;
Thy baited hooks shall tangle me no more.
Senec and Plato call me from thy lore
To perfect wealth, my wit for to endeavour.
