Each Day On News Radio Poem by Francis Duggan

Each Day On News Radio

Each day on news radio of more trouble we hear
Of deaths and of maimings in war zones far from here
Where the value on human life seems to be cheap
Those guilty of such atrocities their own bad karma will reap
For the crimes they commit guilt or regret they may not show
And of the existence of karma they may not even know
But karma will come to them on it's own time
For to extract from them the price of their crime
In refugee camps millions of refugees
The victims of warlords and droughts and disease
And violence abound in the World of today
One war leads to another it need not be this way
And though their victims in silence and darkness may lay
Those guilty of murder to karma must pay.
