Edwin Sprockett was very strange. His mother said he’d never change. Foods beginning with T is all he would eat. He wears his shoes on the wrong feet. Only one sock he will wear. He never ever combs his hair. He has a pigeon, who is his best friend. He drives his mother round the bend. She asked him “Edwin please tell me Why you are as strange as can be? ” He then paused before his reply And then said, “You asked this why? If an Alien came down and met just us two They’d think I was just as strange as you. So you can call me strange if you want But really I’m just different. And remember what a boring world it would be If people didn’t behave differently.” His mother than said, “I suppose you’re right You’re argument I’m not going to fight. But that’s beside the point anyway As I’m your mother and you’ll do what I say. You’ll get upstairs and comb your hair, On the correct feet your shoes you will wear. You’ll eat what I put in front of you And as for socks you will wear two.” To which Edwin replied, “OK if you think it will be best. All you had to do was request.” So from that day he was never the same. He changed despite his mothers original claim.
