Fear of Failing

it comes violently
attacks me
& I fall down
the Fear
it always shakes my heart real bad
mind, in trial to pacify it,
my jobs get shattered irreparably
have been going through it till now
& now i should fight with it& b like d people who i see r very confident
but to fight with self
it’s harder than to do with others
I really aspire to not fear when i need to play things
Tactfully, mindfully& with wholeheartedly
not to stay mingling upon d heart

there is every chance of slipping in every move we make
& the fear
just comes along with each one of them
Fear of failing
before & while making it
even after getting over it, that time
Fear just follows us all d way through
the bridge to other move& on that one too
I wonder whether we are born to b afraid
afraid of Failing, Falling
Losing, being laughed at
Mind surely does know that fear
it shouldn't be there to hold back our works
but the crazy & rebellious performers
just ends insulting its instructor
its has always been my story yet

An illuminating poem Noctiluca, I've not thought of some of these ideas in regards
to failing. We should always push through the fear, and do the things we want, only
then will we move forward. Many times I have found my fear unwarranted after going
ahead and pushing aside my fears. Thank you for making me think. RoseAnn (Report) Reply

ARM’D year! year of the struggle!
No dainty rhymes or sentimental love verses for you, terrible year!
Not you as some pale poetling, seated at a desk, lisping cadenzas
