Final Nail Poem by Lynzi Berner

How could
we have known

This love
would tear us apart

Something so
strong and explosive

We should have known

Now we are
apart

I can't even
tell you of my pain

The greatest loss
was your friendship

Loving you
was the hammer
that drove the
final nail in my coffin
