Looking in the mirror I see the tears filling up
Wondering why I am invincible to you
Looking at the past, despising the breakup
For it was you that was in my dream
Like our love song; Islands in the stream
Like our star – Venus- the Goddess of Love
Each night I still look above
And talk to you, like it hasn’t been years
The thought of you gone has brought so many tears
For you are my dreams
My past, my fantasy my present
I will never give up on you my love
For I know it is nothing less from above
Each kiss we shared I knew it was right
Every feeling was sincere, baby it was love at first sight
For 730 days you were part of my life
For it’s my mission to get it back, it’s for this I strive
You were so genuine, you gave your heart, you life, your everything to me
I was young, unappreciated, and unreal to love; I was a fool to set it free
I had 3 years to set it straight with you
For what the reason was, it was something I could not do
For I live now with the fear of losing you forever
I know that you were the first the last person that had my whole heart
For we belong together
I know the sensation is shared
For it was the way you hugged me the other day like you really cared
Like you didn’t want to set me free
And at that moment the feeling, your touch you’re being became as real as it was the piece that I’ve looked for my whole life.
So I ask this of you; give me a chance to make you deem
That loving me would be like living in a dream
