For You I'll Wait, In Him I'll Trust
I wasn't lying when I said its you I love
Nor when I said you were my gift from above
But you were right when you said we should split
So we'll take some time then see how we fit
I know you're confused and you need some time alone
But I won't forget the love that you've shone
I'll stay to the side and wait for you here
I'll be just a friend till you want me near
Don't think I'm mad, I don't hate your choice
You're just listening to God and His voice
This is His plan to draw you to Him
It's time to let go so you can learn how to swim
It's no mistake that we ended it now
I've done all I can, all I know how
Now it's their turn to be the support you need
It's their turn to help when you bleed
I'm still here, I'm always your friend
But for now, this relationship will end
You're still my best friend and the one that I love
But I'll wait for the word of the One up above
