Garden of Roses
Take notice of the message I send,
Only time is the author of how this fairytale ends.
This time is a time to get lost in the day,
Lost in the dreams that drift us away.
Learn to fly once again like an angel,
Waiting for something beautiful.
Soaring through the sky on an angel's wings.
This new fairytale of kings and queens.
Take notice of the candle that burns in the wind,
Only forgiveness will give us freedom within.
This time to be the sun that shines at midnight,
Lost in the moon that shimmers at daylight.
Learn to forget what the past is,
Finding laughter to replace the sadness.
Sharing truth to forget the lies,
This war is over, we have already survived.
Take notice that life is no longer dying,
Only a time of worth living.
This is a time to breathe, to live.
Lost in life's second chances that it gives.
Learn to accept this undying gift of love,
Lifting up to the heavens above.
Looking up to the stars for the reasons,
This is the answer for all seasons.
Take notice this is what makes us who we are at the end of life,
Only time will replace time, replaces you and me in the afterlife.
This time now this day, today, this place,
Lost in a new life, a new time of grace.
Learning to taste the sun,
Seeing that you and I are as one.
Believing in something worth much more,
This story that you and I explore.
Take notice that it is enough to know,
Even the blind can smell a single rose.
