Gathering The Seeds
'Be Kindly Affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; '
It's so true
we need to love and embrace
and invest too
we waste so much time
when we don't see the need
we waste so much time
and we lose our seed
How easy it would be to walk in love
to apply that principle from up above
Do we hold unto our past
are we afraid to trust
are we afraid of rejection
or what they'll think about us?
When we both need each other so much
and we waste so much time
because of such and such
So our seniors aren't served
and our young women are alone
God has given us the answer
as we seek it on our own.
But we waste time and needs go unmet
we waste time and sometimes get upset
when God has made a way
and he has provided
by women around us
or perhaps some beside us
We waste time when we don't see
we waste time when we don't apprehend
and act quickly
We lose young girls and women
and hurting teens
never knowing what each other
really needs
How sad when he has given us the answer
how sad when we won't embrace one another
when right across or right in front is the solution
but we miss the impartation and the contribution
and we lose a legacy
Because I don't reach out to you and
you don't reach out to me
We waste time when we don't love one another
we waste time when we don't embrace each another
we waste time when we don't do Ruth 1 and Titus 2: 3
We waste time and we grow old unknowingly
Never experiencing the beautiful plan
we waste time or die out
and cease to understand
that we were never meant to go it alone
we waste time, and before our harvest is fully grown
let us gather the seed
