Gifted
once upon a time
a long time ago
a child
gave her father
a large eraser
with capitalized words
"for big mistakes"
printed in black
the gift was so great
the message so clear
the fun part misunderstood
the level of appreciation
so low
he decided
immediately
to throw 'it' away
just a memory
of a great kid
doing her best
to show her world
what she feels
is not only
in her interest
