Guitar Day

Today, today is guitar day
let's get out, let's dance and play
today, today is guitar day!

Pluck the strings
or pick your pick
this one's sweet, don't you think?
Play by the book, make up your own tunes,
music is music and notes are notes.

Who says this one's out of tune?
Every sound is a note
and every sound makes a tune
here we sing our own songs
and every single one we love.

This is a good song to play,
so come on guys, it's guitar day!

Oh today, today is guitar day,
let's get out, let's dance and play
today, today, is guitar day!

Your poem reminds me of when we gathered every night to play and sing. Thanks for stiring the memories. (Report) Reply
