Gumgum's Lament

Two lovers parted ways.
(Momentarily?)

He wanders,
alone.
He wonders,
alone.

I’ve kept an eye on him,
since you’ve been gone.
But I miss seeing you,
together.

I’ve watched him sleep.
He has
no dreams,
only nights.
Only twisting,
turning,
frights.

He misses seeing you,
so much.
He misses being with you,
even more.
He misses holding you,
still more.
He misses you,
so much.

I’ve kept an eye on him,
since you’ve been gone.
But I miss seeing you,
together.
