Halcyon Heart Songs

Shifting Stars Changing Seasons
shimmering night-sky panoramic shedding light
dazzle of stardust and snowflakes
sacredness of life expressed in the songs
of the sovereign suns
peace loving paeans sung from the pleiades
astronomical illumination
mighty orion hunting opal lions over the horizon
ponds of phantom sapphire azure swirls splashes of silver
sublime skyline sets stellar stage
eternal consciousness energizing the ether
life pulsing pregnant with magic
mobiles of blue green fruit
revolve around the central heart of creation
ripening within the womb of the universe
evolution bends reality before the eye
thought bubbles suspended in space
giving birth to worlds
mind vision extends beyond
milky way asteroid belt borders
time bleeds dry
overcome by the slow rise
of rhythmic soul vibes
beats rippling throughout the void
stillness orchestrates obscure sound
instruments animate out of thin air
spectral swirls of strata seduce
drunk on misty eyed moonshine
life pulsing supernova pheromones
punctuate the silence
celestial chandeliers choreograph
twinkling tango of fairytale stars
with yogic grace shadows and sprites dance
flirting in smokey twilight zone noir
starling fluttering ancient mercurial wings
shifting scenes phantasmagoric matchbook fantasies
slow burning multidimensional dreams
Erato's Aeolian kithara
soft stringed echoes of eros logos
mute swans murmuring hypnotic
halcyon heart songs

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
