Heartbreak Night

It truly has been a spectacular
short while being in love with you, regrettably,
disparity has taken over, yet amidst the sadness, my love
for you is still strangely, whether you choose to feel or not.
All of this I have and caused you, was created
by the shattering words that were profoundly hurtful
which you so kindly protruded from your speech;
have indeed without hesitation blackened deeply
the belief in my trust – yet, at the same time –
I have perpetrated the very same evil
towards you as well for my treachery
in the words I spoke to you. Such words,
you my delicate flower, should never hear
In our apparent relationship; trust is a huge integral,
sadly, however, the sorrow of my broken heart is true,
not for the words which you preached, more so, for mine.
Shockingly, I contemplated the ending
our glorious relationship, and yet,
what is far more astonishing is that you still want
me to share your life. I am positively sure we both feel
that our dream of being together is just that I bet,
a dream that beckons and is at the forefront
a never going to be the real deal;
in other words, materialize.
Your soul-hurting tears of grand sorrow
flooded my soul tremendously,
for I indeed suffering from major fright until tomorrow
where your love was vibrantly joyful
and boisterous might turnover for the worst when you awake.

Poem of the Day

poet Wilfred Owen

All sounds have been as music to my listening:
Pacific lamentations of slow bells,
The crunch of boots on blue snow rosy-glistening,
Shuffle of autumn leaves; and all farewells:
