Here's To My Good Friend Doc Wilde

Here’s to my good friend Doc Wilde
Raise up your drinks, say cheers
He has faith and a heart like a child
And wisdom from time and years

When I'm sad he makes me smile
And for him I do the same
He always goes that extra mile
But he never does complain

For loves sake, that’s why he does it
He does it because he can
He needs not a reason for it
And for that I'm his biggest fan

Through troubled times and sorrow
You can count on him alone
He will be there now and tomorrow
If not in person then on the phone

You can count on dear ol' Doc
What a friend he is indeed
He'll be there around the clock
Through all your times of need

Hats off to you my friend
We salute your loving heart
There's nothing you can't mend
Because you finish what you start

I am blessed by all that you do
You’re more precious than money or jewels
And to all that wouldn't love
I take them all as fools

    As I lay up in this bed today I said to myself today isn't going to be like yesterday... and within every hour it proceeded to only get better... the phone wouldn't quit ringin'.. family and friends from all over callin' and I guess it was as if today was the day that EVERYONE knew that I was able to handle the overwhelming love people had to offer... but I do have to say that at the end of my day today, I recieved a call from a precious young lady (YOU) and we ended up having a 3some over the phone w/ the one mentioned in this tribute....(DOC) ... I have to say it was awesome and I truly have you ALL to thank for the love and hope that each of you have given... Cat babygurl, you are right... with the love Doc spreads from all over is something to be treasured for certain.

    I will toast to that! Doc has friendship that courses through his soul. I have never a met a man like him nor will there ever be another.
