The rain falls down everywhere outside, The funeral progression passes by my eyes, My windows are painted black so death cant see me But they roll down their windows I can feel them stare at me. They're digging their holes in the ground to heaven, Through this endless field with countless crosses, Do they save a place for everyone, To dig their hole to heaven. I cant understand what it means to be alive, Cause me I never really had a life, They put their gun in my hands and said to me Boy this is what you were meant to be. This winter weather has hardened the ground, Where I lay without a sound, I look up and see through someone else's eyes Staring at this land where my body lies. They dug my hole to heaven, I'm laying here with a faded picture of you, Theres an empty hole beside me, I saved for you.
