Homo Mensura

’insan herşeyin ölçüsüdür.’

Protagoras

döküldü ağızdan
morfin yemiş cümleler
ve dağıldı
ara sokağa kanlar içinde
debelendi
desibeli
hançeresinden
yayıldı etrafa bir koku nahoş
son nefesine nara’landı
kuşluk vakti bir sarhoş

olay yerindeydi şair
birkaç dize kalp masajı denedi
sunni tenefüs şiirinden
midas kulaklarına
ama duymadı
duyamadı iri cüsseli
megaloman kalabalıktan

uyandı
saatler sonra matizyen kelimeler
kayboldu gece karanlığında
yalta konferansına
yalpalayarak
yorgun ve üzgündü
nedamet’in tümceleri

af diledi
kabl’u ayan oldu naim’ler
tanrıdan bir pasaj
bir mesaj diye
sevindi ağladı
not düştü tereke’ye
öldüğümde
gömün dedi.
domuzlar körfezi’ne...

I

I AM not One who much or oft delight
To season my fireside with personal talk.--
Of friends, who live within an easy walk,
Or neighbours, daily, weekly, in my sight:
