‘Hope' - The Eternal Panacea
A waft of the cool breeze
Heady aromas, humming bees
Wish the spell of this spectral beauty
Could hold still for eternity.
‘Cause this ethereal moment is just a driblet in time's ocean
It has little choice but to disappear soon into oblivion
Etched into history forever…
It's short journey through uncharted terrain
Like in a desert - that of a sand grain.
By cosmic regimen
Tomorrow could be the day of cacti and nettle
Seasons alternating, vacillating - a bitter sweet pill
But for now - with great anticipation
A Quixotic celebration.
A possible nadir, a timeless damnation
In a minefield, a desperate search for salvation.
Parched lands with rich succulents
Diverse and disparate events.
‘Hope', the boundless expanse of fuel
A panacea to battle life's unending dual
‘Hope' tomorrow's sunrise will erase the night's perfidy
The return of blooming flora, a smile and the festivity.
