I Left It On Him
early in the morn
mingled the seam over there
as the sun was born
illuminated by the beam were the clouds drear
and then gone was the storm
went the sky from dark so clear
over is the season of scorn
long after pain i couldn't bear
the witch's blanket is torn
gale is over that i hear
i killed the wishes they are forlorn
i left it on Him my dear
