I Love You

When my world was crashing down
You were always around
Even if not in person
And those two words I'm constantly rehearsin, 'you're beautiful'
Made me feel like I was somethin
When I felt like I was nothin

Realizing I wanted you here
Even though it felt like we were worlds apart.
You made me feel perfect
When no one else did

Even though I was unfair
You did not care
And all you said was, 'it's ok'
I could never understand why

You wanted to be my guy
Yet you just kept on lovin me
Realizing then how much I wanted you to be with me
Even though we no longer talk

I still think of you as I go for a walk
And wish I could take back the things that I said
To redo it all and make the call
Because, honestly, I don't want us to fall

But before I go my own way
Just letting you know that I love you
And that my lost love,
Is all I have to say.

To a special guy who will always be close to my heart and I will never forget. He opened my eyes and taught me how it really feels to love someone.
