I Want A Princess - Poem by samuel munachim

I want a princess
To be my best friend
But she is too proud
Head up in the sky.

Let me whisper, friend
You must cut the head
Put axe to her neck
She must be brought low

But that is wicked
I cannot do it
If her head rises
I must let mine too

Do it as you please
I give you advice
But you do not heed
You will end in stroke

A compromise then
I will stare at her
She will on her own
Hunt me like a chick.

Since she is egbe
Eagle is her name
Princess Ugonna
Eagle of the king.
