In Case He Leaves

after being alone
before we phone
call him away
high tide today
swept to say
I mean I may
decide not to stay
going away to no one
going today to be one
going to say I love you
deciding to stay and be some one
make a point
to be someone else
along to say to him
I am ok with you to stay
so if you go and forget today
you might always know
I love you so.

Whate'er we leave to God, God does,
And blesses us;
The work we choose should be our own,
God leaves alone.
