In My Heart - Poem by Marilyn Jean

In my heart I know
How I felt then
How I feel now

I cannot forget
You are in my heart
You stay in my heart

So, very little more
I could write to you
Or that I could say
Now or ever

A hopes for you lives
That one day my path
One day your path, soon
Cross again

I feel your warm love
I feel your bright soul
I feel your kind heart
It hurts

I wish you happiness
I wish you peace
I wish you love
And freedom

My poems for you
Say what I am inside
What I feel for you

I keep you in my heart
As I wait for you
Then I am happy
I don't mind my pain

Please don't suffer for me
Let your mind forget me
But give me a tiny place
In your loving heart
